Over the weekend, a man was found dead at the bottom of the Big Dam at the Mill Creek Reservoir in Wilkes Barre. The Mill Creek Reservoir is owned by the Pennsylvania American Water Co.   The man has been identified as 44 year old Thomas Zinga, Jr.
Police are currently investigating how Mr. Zinga got into the protected reservoir area and why he fell to his death. His autopsy indicated that his injuries were consistent with a fall. The Pennsylvania American Water Co. believes that its gates were secure around the time of Mr. Zinga’s death. However, that will likely be part of the police investigation into this Pennsylvania fatal accident.
