On Monday afternoon, a five year old boy was killed in a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Chester County. According to the police, 20 year old Cynthia Eure was driving a minivan with 10 people in it westbound on the Turnpike when one of the rear tires blew out. Ms. Eure lost control of the vehicle and the car flipped over.
The 5 year old child was not in a car seat at the time of the accident which occurred at approximately 4 p.m. at mile marker 303 between the Morgantown and Downingtown exits. He was declared dead at the scene of the accident. His name has not yet been released. No one else died in this fatal Chester County crash.
